Clear rules for editing and export.

Using PedForge

You are responsible for having permission to use, modify and export the files you open in PedForge. You are also responsible for reviewing validation warnings and testing the resulting resource before using it on a server.

Credits and exports

• Each new drawable/index, a new head included, uses 10 credits, and only after a successful export.
• A reshaped face uses 10 credits per head.
• Hair colours made in PedForge use one credit per started 4 variants on a drawable.
• Tattoos use one credit per started 2 layers on a drawable.
• Eyes, skin tone, face pictures, textures, variants from files, shape mode, optimisation, repairs, removing and moving do not use credits.
• What has been paid for in a project is not charged again while it stays there. For hair colours and tattoos, only the difference against what is already paid is charged.
• Credits are charged just before the files are written. A failed or cancelled export gives them back.
• Exporting and buying require a verified membership in PedForge’s Discord server.
• Each account gets 30 credits once, the first time it signs in, and 50 credits once, when its Discord membership is verified. An account that invites another gets 25 credits when the invited account verifies, for at most 50 invitations.
• Removing a paid drawable does not refund the credit used for it.
• If a removed drawable is added again, it counts as a new addition on the next successful export.

Credit availability

Credits do not expire, whether you bought them or got them for signing in, verifying or inviting someone. Your balance and the exact cost of an export are shown before you confirm.

Service availability

PedForge may change during the MVP period. Features, supported formats and availability can be updated as compatibility issues are found. Cancellation, refund, jurisdiction and liability language has not yet been set with qualified counsel, and until it has, these terms remain a draft.
